his past weekend, my friend Addie and I hosted our own Fashion Revolution event. To sum things up, it’s a movement dedicated to exposing dangerous working conditions and the large amount of waste produced in the fashion industry. On April 24th, 2013, the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This left 1134 dead and 2500 others wounded. This sparked the start of Fashion Revolution. People wanted to challenge clothing distributors to take an active part in facilitating better care of the individuals who make the clothes that we wear everyday.
